As Dementia Lead, Fatima’s focus is on coordinating and leading the care services of our village residents living with dementia. To meet evolving care needs and support residents to navigate their dementia journey, she works together with residents, their families, and other internal and external health professionals to develop and implement tailored care plans and activity programs.
Fatima began her career in the aged care industry about 12 years ago after moving to Australia from the Philippines as an international student. Whilst employed as personal care assistant, she discovered her deep passion for working with the elderly community. She says it has always been a privilege to hear their unique and inspiring stories which makes her work life more interesting and rewarding.
Fatima joined LDK in 2022 as a Registered Nurse and says “I am extremely proud to be able to work in a beautiful and warm community with a common vision to foster love, decency, and kindness with everyone.”
