About Ilana

Ilana Cunha, Village Operations Manager

Ilana joined LDK as Resident Services Manager in January 2022, and on 14 June 2023 was appointed to Village Operations Manager. In this role, Ilana oversees our Facilities, Hospitality and Resident Services departments.

Her role encompasses managing team performance to deliver service excellence and a vibrant village lifestyle, where residents maintain a sense of purpose and belonging, and receive the best experience at all points of their interaction with us along their ageing journey.

Ilana’s previous work experience includes working as a manager in hospitality, and over 12 years in corporate social responsibility and project management. She gained this experience across four different countries in South America and Africa, with multinational companies operating in construction, chemical, and petrochemicals.

One of the things Ilana loves about working with LDK is hearing the residents’ life stories and watching their transition into their new home. She was recently told by a new resident, “I was afraid of leaving behind a 4-bedroom house with a big garden, where I lived for 46 years. Now I am here, and I feel so happy with all the support I need. I already feel like this is my home”.
