Sonia is the clinical lead for the village and oversees everything clinical, from wound dressings to residents requiring emergency assistance in their homes.
Sonia has been working as a registered nurse for 20 years. Her most recent experience was in residential home care. Prior to that, she worked in hospitals and her roles included providing post-surgical care and being an after-hours manager at a large private hospital, looking after the needs of the patients, staff, doctors and visitors. She was also a nurse unit manager at one of Sydney’s largest vaccination hubs at Sydney Olympic Park. She says she feels fortunate to have had these opportunities and has enjoyed her time in all these jobs.
With LDK, she enjoys being able to meet and work with so many residents every day and feels privileged to be part of their lives.
