Construction Update

• The last couple of months have seen a considerable amount of work gone into preparing the site to facilitate the installation of perimeter scaffolding – which has now been completed to both buildings (Dalgarno & Evans).
• Demolition works also began in both buildings, with Dalgarno East and West mostly complete. This includes the demolition of the existing lift shaft using a robot (insert interesting note here re the robot). The primary focus for the month of May was to continue with demolition in order to clear out all floors in preparation for the commencement of partitions and installation of balcony outriggers.
• Partitions have commenced in Dalgarno MORE CONTENT TO BE ADDED HERE
• Concrete slabs were cut to enable the commencement of the in-ground hydraulic drainage installation (plumbing). This has now been completed on the westerns Level 1 floors of both Dalgarno & Evans, and the concrete is being prepared for slab reinstatement.
• Roof replacement works have also commenced and continuing well, with Dalgarno East 95% complete and Dalgarno East underway with the replacement of box gutters, and all new sheets placed ready for replacement on Evans.
• The new fire service (fire hydrants lines/pipes) installation is complete and live, bar the connection to the new booster and installation of attack hydrants.
• For the remainder of the month of June, the focus will be the commencement of roof strengthening works and partitions to Dalgarno, along with the continuation of demolition through Evans. Weather permitting, the roofing works should be substantially complete to all buildings with the exception of link bridges at the end of June.
