What is a Short Stay?

A Short Stay is a temporary stay within the Amberfield village, designed to help you experience our care-supported lifestyle, services and community.

Stays range from a minimum of two weeks to a maximum of four weeks. During your stay, you can:

  • live in a private, fully furnished one-bedroom apartment
  • access personalised care services if needed
  • enjoy a range of dining options, including chef-prepared meals
  • participate in village lifestyle activities
  • use the village amenities and shared social spaces

What does it cost?

The Amberfield Short Stays Experience is privately funded at $399 per day. This daily flat rate includes:

  • care support
  • meals
  • lifestyle activities
  • weekly apartment cleaning.

This all-inclusive approach allows you to focus on enjoying your stay while experiencing the comfort, care and community Amberfield offers.

Please note, the daily fee does not include grocery items purchased from the on-site grocer, alcoholic beverages or ticketed or catered events within the village.

Government funding does not apply to the Short Stays experience.

If you place a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment in the Russell Tower by 31 May 2026, the full cost of your Short Stay will be credited towards your weekly General Services charges.

It’s our way of making your experience feel simple and risk-free, while you explore life at Amberfield.

With only 17 apartments remaining in the Russell Tower, availability is limited.

What’s included in your stay?

Your stay at Amberfield is designed to be comfortable, flexible and supportive. You’ll enjoy your own fully furnished apartment, delicious dining options, engaging activities and a range of thoughtful conveniences, with the freedom to host visitors, bring your pet and stay connected with loved ones.

 

Fully furnished apartment

You will stay in a self-contained one-bedroom apartment, which includes:

  • bed and bedside tables
  • sofa or armchairs
  • dining table and chairs
  • television
  • full kitchen
  • private laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Meals and dining

You have a variety of dining options during your stay:

  • prepare meals in your own apartment
  • purchase home-style meals from the on-site grocer
  • enjoy dishes prepared by our executive chef in the café or restaurant
  • arrange for meals to be delivered to your apartment.

Activities and lifestyle

When you arrive, you’ll receive a village activity program outlining the many social and lifestyle activities available during your stay.

You can participate in as much or as little as you like, with supported activities available if you would like additional assistance.

Village amenities

During your stay, you are welcome to explore and enjoy the village amenities, shared spaces and welcoming community atmosphere.
