Construction has already begun on our very first seniors’ living village, at the former Department of Social Services building opposite the Tuggeranong Town Centre Vikings.
The construction team is currently busy on the ground rapidly transforming 45,000 sqm of residential space across 15 acres into our state-of-the-art village. Development is tracking well and we’re looking forward to unveiling our first display unit in March 2019. Stage 1 of Tuggeranong will be ready to move in later in 2019. The final village will house over 450 seniors in 380 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments.
All residents at our Tuggeranong village will enjoy premium community living with easy access to the following amenities within the village: 24-hour reception, corner store, town hall, bar (with happy hour every afternoon), barbershop, hair-and-beauty salon, 130-seat private theatre and dining areas. It also includes a library, learning centre, gymnasium, men’s shed, chapel, offleash dog park, parking, activity rooms, and the list goes on. The village will be an active hub, and the Greenway town centre is just around the corner.
120 full-time equivalent staff will care for the village residents within the privacy of their own apartments. Our dedicated care team will be onsite 24/7 to ensure the safety and wellbeing of each resident. The latest in technology will assist our qualified staff to deliver the best in healthcare and wellbeing programs.
Residents will enjoy sweeping views across to the Brindabella Ranges from the outdoor areas, which will be completely refurbished into a relaxing outdoor area.
